This little gourami (in it’s different colour forms) is adored by aquarists across the world. A member of the Anabantoids, with the ability to breath atmospheric oxygen as well as dissolved oxygen.

This little Gourami is fairly durable and has long been recommended as a good choice for community tanks and beginners. It is excellent for the smaller aquarium as it is peaceful with everybody and almost shy. As long as the aquarium is properly set-up and maintained, this fish will thrive.
