The Red Cherry Shrimps are colourful freshwater shrimps that can make a great addition to a community aquarium containing small placid fish.  They require an established mature aquarium with good constant water quality.  They like plenty of hiding places and love to eat algae of all types. It is important that their tank mates do not see them as food though so choose your fish wisely!

These shrimps are easy to breed and that make them great fun to keep, although the youngsters are easily preyed upon.

These little shrimps are sensitive to water conditions. They need soft water and many keepers will use a percentage of RO water to maintain the tank conditions.
