The Black Cherry Shrimps are a freshwater shrimps that can make a great addition to a community aquarium containing small placid fish.  They require an established mature aquarium with good constant water quality.  They like plenty of hiding places and love to eat algae of all types. It is important that their tank mates do not see them as food though so choose your fish wisely!

These shrimps are easy to breed and that make them great fun to keep, although the youngsters are easily preyed upon.
